This dynamic role requires an uncommon and engaging public works professional with the ability to address a wide range of needs from facilities, flood control, infrastructure improvements, capital projects, and roads to climate action mitigation plan and coastal issues dealing with sea level rise. Graduation from a four-year college or university is desired along with 4 years of management experience in a broad-based and comprehensive public works setting. Such experience must have included one year of senior management experience and both direct and indirect management of staff. Local government experience is highly desirable. Registration as PE-Civil in California is desirable.
Annual salary for this position is $214,115 to $236,028. The County also offers an attractive benefits package, including MCERA Retirement.
