Topic: Design-Build for the City of San Diego: Speeding up the Delivery Process
Speaker: James Nagelvoort, PE, Assistant Director of Public Works and City Engineer, City of San Diego
James Nagelvoort has over 20 years of experience in the public works field, much of it in the delivery of capital improvement programs. He has held numerous management positions with the City of San Diego, both in the Public Works and Public Utilities Departments. He has a BS in Civil Engineering from San Diego State University and a MBA from California State University of San Marcos. He has been closely involved with the City of San Diego’s recent efforts to increase the employment of Design Build to accelerate project delivery.
